We closely follow the annual rankings released by the Nature Index, particularly the 2025 Research Leaders: Leading Institutions in Saudi Arabia. Upon review, we have identified a significant discrepancy between the number of research articles indexed for KFSHRC and our verified publication records.
According to the current Nature Index data, KFSHRC is credited with 24 research articles for the year 2024. However, after carefully reviewing all 145 journals listed in the Nature Index (Nature Index Journal List), we have confirmed 48 original research articles published in 2024 with at least one author affiliated with KFSHRC.
Many of these publications fulfill the Nature Index inclusion criteria (original research articles published in indexed journals) but appear to have been missed or misattributed. We would appreciate it if your team could review these records and update the institutional count for KFSHRC accordingly.
