Errors in Share Calculations

Dear Nature Index Team,

I am Yeu-Guang Tung from the School of Medicine at National Taiwan University, writing to report a discrepancy in the share calculations for papers published on 2023-10-01 within the Nature Index. Specifically, certain papers are incorrectly attributed with share values exceeding 20, which contradicts the principle that a paper's total share should not surpass 1.

Examples of incorrectly calculated paper:

“NME3 binds to phosphatidic acid and mediates PLD6-induced mitochondrial tethering”

National Taiwan University got a share of 32 on this paper

“Hypoxia activates scpSREBP2/scp through Golgi disassembly in bone marrow‐derived monocytes for enhanced tumor growth”

The University of Tokyo got a share of 22.83 on this paper
